The Absurdities of Entropy

In today's world the concept of Entropy is intimately connected with the Second 'Law' of Thermodynamics. Unfortunately the popular view, including how it is referred to by many scientists as a general property has little to do with the exceptionally limited space of the second law. This is the first absurdity of over-generalization. The technical definitions within today's second law are highly dependent on fixed concepts of both information and structure. Within IT and AI the concept of both information and structure have dramatically evolved over the last few decades. We no longer just work with information but now work with knowledge, reasoning, and meta-reasoning. It is very much true that both information and structure evolve as IT evolves. This brings us two additional absurdities of entropy, evolving concepts of information and structure cannot be used in fixed definitions. We will be discussing how these and other absurdities turn the concept of entropy into little more than dogmatic belief. And yes at the end there are still a few minor elements left of the second law as useful chemical analysis tools.
