In 2016, Jer and his friend Dawn started a podcast to answer leadership and knowledge-worker questions. An unintended (albeit welcome) consequence of this was that friends, colleagues, co-workers, acquaintances, and the occasional random stranger started throwing us walk-up questions.

This was magical.

Given an outlet, it became clear that there were countless unasked questions shared by so many people, and most of those questions were things about which people felt alone in their confusion. Some were deeply personal, some highly specific, still others were strategic in nature—but in all there was a pattern of common questions that people were just waiting for a chance to ask.
